Somehow, Schindler manages to escape from the Red Army and saves his life. Gradually, the films plot develops into the lives of the Jewish workers under Schindler. In the initial stages, Schindler considered his workers as mere slaves. Somehow, constant contact with the workers changed Schindlers mind and he began to consider them as his extended family. This is entirely different from the atrocities faced by the other Jews during German holocaust.
